Meet The Orchid Team: Marissa Lodato

1. What’s your role at Orchid Agency, and what do you focus on?

Hi, I’m Marissa, Senior Marketing Manager at Orchid.  I’ve been here for almost 4 years! I manage Orchid’s brand, digital marketing presence, social channels, content campaigns, and lead-generation programs, to name a few.

2. How would your team members describe you in 3 words?

This is a tough one, but I’d have to say passionate, organized, and creative.

3. What’s a fun fact about you that most people might not know?

My first job ever was working as a party entertainer for children’s birthday parties. It definitely kept me on my toes.

4. What’s your coffee order?

I like to keep it simple with an espresso or cappuccino. Nothing sweet or fancy in my cup!

5. What do you love doing outside of work?

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my daughters, Giuliana, who is 4, and Gabriella, who is 10 months. I also enjoy going for walks, cooking, and trying new restaurants with the small amount of free time I have. When I do have more time, I’d absolutely love to get back to traveling.

6. What’s your guilty-pleasure TV show, snack, or hobby?

I’m just going to admit it- I find watching The Housewives a good way to relax and unwind. But if I’m not watching grown women scream at each other, I’ve also enjoyed watching the final season of Stranger Things and Landman.

7. What's the best advice you’ve ever received (personally or professionally)? 

Someone once told me, “Do what you say you’re going to do”. I can’t unhear it, and I try to follow that advice both professionally and personally.
